Main responsibilities of CCPIT:
   开展同世界各国及台湾、香港、澳门地区经济贸易界的联络，邀请和接待外国经济贸易，技术界人士和代表团到访，组织经济贸易代表团、考察团出国访问和考察。组织和直辖市本市赴国外、境外举办或参加各种有利于对外贸易、技术进步的会议或展览会；安排和接待外国或港、澳、台地区相关部门或商务机构来本市举办经济贸易与技术展览会；组织对外经济贸易业务培训班；出具中国出口商品产地证明书，Issuing and certifying documents and documents for foreign trade and transportation of goods;To undertake consulting services related to foreign laws and regulations，Accept applications for mediation and arbitration of international trade disputes;Acting for Qingyuan enterprises in foreign countries or foreign companies and individuals in China to handle trademark registration and patent applications，To undertake consulting, dispute and technology trade related to industrial property rights;To carry out other matters relating to the promotion of economic and trade development;To undertake other matters assigned by the municipal people's Government and the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade。
